The app panicked on launch with an index-out-of-bounds in ab_glyph_rasterizer 0.1.8 (raster.rs:137:23), a cache-miss font rasterization bug in the iced 0.9 dependency chain. Upgrading to iced 0.13.1 replaces the old wgpu_glyph/glyph_brush text pipeline with cosmic-text/glyphon, which does not use ab_glyph_rasterizer. API migration highlights: - Sandbox trait removed -> free functions update/view/theme - Element now takes Element<'_, Message, Theme, Renderer> - Application built via iced::application(...) builder pattern - text().style(Color) -> text().color(Color) - ProgressBar::new() -> progress_bar() helper - image::Handle::from_memory() -> image::Handle::from_bytes() - Column::align_items() -> Column::align_x() - Length::Fill -> Fill - container() / scrollable() / etc. are now helper functions |

Simple Pokedex
A simple GUI program made with iced-rs that shows details about a Pokemon. As of now, it shows the following:
- Name
- Description
- Sprite
I will add more later.
Why
Because I often play Pokemon games in my computer and I'd rather have a small window where I can search a Pokemon name and see what I need rather than open a browser.
Screenshot
As of now, with name, description, and sprite it looks like:
